Mr Jeffrey Lin’s entrepreneurial spirit provided Free Space Intent with unparalleled hard work and persistence. His willingness to take calculated risks were the recipe to the success of Free Space Intent. His experience in interior design allows Free Space Intent to merge and convey contradicting design styles and ideas into a final piece that is unique and fresh.
Free Space Intent (FSI), is helmed by Principal Designer, Raymond Seow. Keeping to FSI’s style of modern cosmopolitan designs, Raymond oversees the design department, infusing his signature radical style to give the home a unique edge.
Graphically-trained as LASALLE College of the Arts, Raymond chose to pursue a career in interior design and grew ever more passionate about it. Never a conventionalist, Raymond believes in creating original and organic designs which are strikingly bold and often described as ahead of its time. Being a sci-fi and comic fan, Raymond brings diverse influences into his designs by using a blend of colours, light in a refreshing way that brings life into a space. An affable personality, Raymond’s designs are often described as optimistic, playful and bold.
Trained in both Architecture (Singapore Polytechnic) and Interior Design (Raffles Design Institute), Leon has always been fascinated with creating space and proportions that interact meaningfully with users, while staying functional enough for users to interact within.
Contemporary aesthetics might not be Leon’s cup of tea, as he sees organic forms and textures to be more stimulating.
Being in the industry for more than 10 years, Leon has significant experience in working on projects with a diverse array of styles. These experiences have strengthened his belief that the basic purpose of interior design is to provide functional and aesthetical solutions without excessively imposing his personal design style onto his clients.
